The Special Assistant to the Governor on Security, Ebonyi South, Mr. Chika Nwangele says the construction of access roads and street lights across the state by the state Governor, Engr. David Nweze Umahi has helped to reduce crime to the barest minimum.
Mr. Nwangele stated this when he featured on EBBC programme, Anyanwu Ututu.
According to Mr. Chika Nwangele, to complement the efforts of the state Governor in the Security sector, he has embarked on security sensitization, with other SAs to the governor on Security in some secondary schools in the state to preach against cultism and other related social vices.
Mr. Nwangele blamed deviant behaviors of some youths on poor parental upbringing and called on them to live up to their responsibilities.
The Special Assistant advised the people of the state to always work in synergy with SAs to the Governor on security and security agents by providing useful information that would help check crime in the state.
He implored people of the state to be law-abiding at all times and avoid anything that could lure them into crime.
On number plate, Mr. Chika Nwangele urged motorists who are yet to fix such on their motorcycles to do so for the purposes of identification to avoid sanction by the state government saying that some motorcycles with no number plate could be used to commit crime.
